Ophis - Enter The Studio Today
If you have been eagerly awaiting the new Ophis album, rejoice because the German death/doom metallers will enter the studio today. Their third album will be called Abhorrence In Opulence and the tentative release date is set for autumn. If you want to check out one of the new songs, watch the video available below.
The band posted this message: "Alright, FINALLY we will enter Blastbeat-Studio (not the most suitable name, eh?) in Kiel / Germany tomorrow, to start the recording of our 3rd full-length album Abhorrence In Opulence!
"The album will contain 5 songs of approx. one hour playtime of raw nihilistic Death/Doom Metal! It will hopefully be released in early autumn on CD and LP! We will keep you updated.
"If you want to take an early peek, here is a live version of one of the new songs, which will be featured on the album. It's from a fan-made bootleg."

An Ophis-way song, not realy a breakthrough. Eventhough I do look forward to this release, I'm not expecting something outstanding.

Fuck YES!  This is going to be awesome. If it's anything like the first two full-length albums it's going to be top-notch yet again, because those albums are both excellent.
