Necrophobic - Anders Strokirk Rejoins Band

After last year's exit of their vocalist Tobias Sidegård, Swedish death metal masters Necrophobic revealed through their official Facebook page today the return of vocalist Anders Strokirk, who handled the vocal duties during 1992-1994 and also recorded their first album The Nocturnal Silence in 1993.

The band stated the following: "Necrophobic is proud to announce that Anders Strokirk has re-joined the band as their permanent vocalist. Anders was in the band during the years 1992-1994 and sang on the legendary debut album The Nocturnal Silence (1993). Anders voice is both strong and characteristic. We are now ready to play live again and support last autumn's album release Womb Of Lilithu. More news will follow."

This could possibly mean the return to the older sound. What are your thoughts on this?

Cool! "The Nocturnal Silence" still might be their best work.
