After a short teaser recently, the Teutonic titans of thrash metal Kreator have revealed a lot more today, namely the cover art and release details for their upcoming album, Gods Of Violence. The 14th Kreator album is set to be released on January 27th, 2017 worldwide via Nuclear Blast Records. Mark your calendars folks!

Commented mastermind Mille Petrozza: "Gods Of Violence was the first song I wrote for this album and it stuck to me as the title track. It contains everything Kreator is known for and it will blow your minds. Promise! The cover of is a perfect reflection of my lyrical vision. I think this is Jan Meininghaus' best work so far."

The album will contain 11 tracks with a total running time of approximately 52 minutes.

I hope they have worked on momentum. Last few album had a serious "great start and then fucked up in the end" problem which spoiled the mood of listener; pumped up initially and then had to settle with some mediocre tracks closing in.

That cover is...too much. I guess it works with the title, but it's definitely no Phantom Antichrist

The cover for Phantom Antichrist was awesome, this reminds me more of Slayer's earlier records with the hectic cover art.

As ugly as most of Kreator's artwork.

EDIT: Actually, it's quite a bit uglier than other Kreator album covers, which is saying a lot.
