Dark Tranquillity - Nominated For Swedish Grammis Awards
Dark Tranquillity's new album Atoma is being well-received and even the Swedish Grammis Awards took notice. The legendary Gothenburg melodic death metal pioneers were nominated with their new album Atoma. In the hard rock/metal category, the other nominees are Amaranthe's Maximalism album, Ghost's Popestar EP, In Flames' new album Battles and Cult Of Luna's collaboration with Julie Christmas, Mariner.
Who do you think should win the award?
Frontman Mikael Stanne comments: "We are honored that in a year of amazing Swedish albums our own Atoma has been nominated for the Swedish Grammis awards. We are indeed in good company among the nominees and we cannot wait for the awards ceremony and the inevitable party afterwards!"
The event will take place on the 28th of February.
