well as it's kind of a re-release, I'd say nope - we don't nominate reissues of any kind (or be sure I'd have petitioned for some older Circle Of Dust in industrial ).

"Bloodshed Across The Keyboard Of Every Fan Who Has To Type This" Sounds like Craig wrote it, anyway cool work by the staff. Weirdest choices seem to be in the doom metal category as I personally see the extreme doom category having much stronger and more "doom" works. Have heard most of the releases in the doom categories (which is the one I look forward in all MS awards to find hidden gems and also my fav every year) barring a few which I'll be checking out soon.

Prog metal cat is easily the toughest to vote on this year.

Should also probably resign myself to Ulver sweeping the Ambient/Drone cat too, but that definitely wouldn't be as bad.

Inquisition did really good last year so I don't have any problems with that.

Just like every year, the black metal category is tight af.

Blues Pills in hard rock. Though some might say it doesn't even qualify as that, just pop rock. I thought it was a cool album

It's not that it's a terrible release that is my issue with it, it's just that with everything else there in black metal it looks so weak by comparison on the songwriting and creativity factors. At this point I'm hoping either Schammasch or Deathspell Omega give it a run for its money. A man can dream

Between the mentioned bands I will vote Inquisition every day. At the moment 2nd wave>modern bm.

@Che, I was a bit suprised that Horse Latitudes wasnt in drone. You didnt listen to it or you thought that 2 Nadjas and Horseback was better that Primal Gnosis?
