After being quiet for a while, Aussies Karnivool recently announced that they are working on a new album, finally. Asymmetry, their latest full-length, was already released in 2013. The alternative/progressive metallers are producing new sounds and trying to finish album number four. A release date hasn't been set yet but at least now we know that it's coming.

The album's latest update: "The album is well and truly taking shape here in our home town of Perth, WA. It's been thoroughly challenging as always, full of ups and downs, euphoria, frustration, breakthroughs, confusion, surprises and no surprises.

"We are still 'off season' as far as touring goes so we can assemble this thing into something very real and release it into the wild where it belongs and we can get back out on the road and play new and old songs all over the planet. Yes that includes y'all over there in the States.

"We are eternally grateful for your loyal and undying support for the music we make. You must know that the five guys putting heads and hearts to this couldn't be more passionate about what we do. No release date as yet.. but please stay tuned for more updates. Love and Respect from Steve, Jon, Drew, Mark and Ian."
