German one-man black metal act Nargaroth, who has released a new album this year (Era Of Threnody), will play in Montreal, Canada for the Messe des Morts VII event which will be held in from 23-25 November 2017. Last year, the third night of the festival was canceled "for safety reasons" following a protest against Graveland, with alleged ties to white supremacist groups.

The festival announced: "Everyone who witnessed the 2.5 edition of the festival probably remembers the epic show Nargaroth gave that evening. Despite its immense popularity, the band has not come often to play in North America, as is the case for some other European outfits, so we decided, while working on the lineup of the fest, that the moment was ideal to have the band come back here after a few years for its seventh edition!"
