Hamferð - New Guitarist Joins The Ranks
Doom metal purveyors Hamferð are pleased to introduce Eyðun í Geil Hvannastein as the new guitarist in the ranks. He will be replacing John Egholm, who left the group earlier this year.
Band says: ''We are incredibly proud and fortunate to welcome Eyðun í Geil Hvannastein to the Hamferð fold, filling John's metaphorically and literally big shoes.
"Eyðun is an incredibly talented musician and guitar-player, which he demonstrates in bands such as ótti. He is also an all around wonderful person. We look forward to having our music imbued with his artistic flair and sharing stages with him worldwide in the future.''

He's been performing with them live for a while anyway, at least he was both times I saw them in the past year and when I interviewed them. Seems like a top lad.
