Obscene - Former Bassist Died
American death metal operatives Obscene confirmed that their former bassist Erik Lund has passed away. He was part of the band for a short period of time, in years between 2016 and 2017.
Statement from the group: "Yesterday our friend and former bassist Erik Lund passed away. Erik was with us from the beginning when we were Blood Chasm and recorded our 'Sermon to the Snake' demo. He left shortly after recording but always remained a supportive friend. While his tenure with us may have been brief, he was integral to our growth and development. Anyone who knew him was touched by his genuine kindness, humor, and positive energy. Love and strength to his family and all friends of his. We remember him and honor him. Thank you for everything.''
