Overall, it's not the metal/neofolk fusion throughout that I was hoping for from the first song, more a folk rock album with metal and art pop tendencies, but the Blackwater Park-style passage in the title track is an interesting twist. Overall, it's in the same ballpark as the new Myrkur album, but I probably slightly prefer this album as being more consistent and well-rounded

I like it quite a bit. Have given several listens alread and it’s one of the best folk albums I’ve heard this year. Like it better than the Myrkur album
