Faith No More - Band Update From Keyboardist
It's been almost a decade since Faith No More last performed a regular show and the release of their most recent album Sol Invictus. The band was supposed to tour again between 2020 and 2022, but the COVID pandemic and frontman Mike Patton's mental health problems prevented this from happening. While no official breakup of Faith No More has ever been announced, keyboardist Roddy Bottum confirmed in a new post on Substack that they are on a "semi permanent hiatus".
Regarding his current current musical endeavors, Roddy Bottom said: "I live in NYC and I work with my boyfriend in a band called Man On Man and two awesome friends in a band called Crickets and also sometimes the horror art project gnarl core Nastie Band. FNM is kind of on semi permanent hiatus and Imperial Teen is making a record slowly but definitely."
