Daniel Svensson (born in 1977 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is the ex-drummer of the Swedish band In Flames, and drummer / vocalist for the band Sacrilege GBG. Leaving Sacrilege GBG, he joined In Flames in 1998 to fill the position created when Björn Gelotte moved from drums to guitars. In Flames' first album with him as drummer, Colony, was released the following year. He rejoined Sacrilege GBG in 2006. In 2015 he parted with in Flames, deciding to dedicate himself to his brewery and focus on his family life
