Folk metal ensemble Svartsot are excited to announce that they have signed a new contract with Danish label Mighty Music/Target Group for the release of their next studio album. The latter will be recorded this month at the Antfarm Studio with the legendary producer Tue Madsen.

Statement from the band as follows: "We are very happy to announce our coming album and signing of new agreements with Danish label Mighty Music/Target Group!

"As we mentioned in the last post, we are entering Antfarm Studio with the legendary Tue Madsen at the helm in January, where we will be recording our 6th studio album, which is scheduled to have a release around June 2025. We will bring more album-related news once we are a bit further along in the recording and pre-release process, but until then we can mention that the album will feature 9 tracks, and we are working with some very skilled people regarding cover art and photography.

"Also, early in 2025 we will be playing a show at VinterMetal, Skråen in Aalborg, Denmark on February 15th. This is pretty damn close to our official 20th anniversary day, which is February 17th, and we are looking forward to celebrating this with everyone at the show!"
