My thoughts precisely Andy. England got equaliser by player who should be sent off with second yellow card for diving and yet nobody seems to notice that fact
Slayer's material with Dave is obviously better, even though i didn't care for Christ Illusion or WPB. But what drummer do you think is better. Both drummers are amazing in their own right. I think Dave is a better fit for Slayer, but i just prefer Paul's style more. I think he's an all around better drummer than Lombardo.
A tough choice because I don't think there is much too this comparison, they are very similar in style and quality, I will only vote for Bostaph because I generally prefer the work he is involved in. But Lombardo has certainly produced some outstanding work.
Paul is an amazing drummer, no doubt about that! I have to go with Dave Lombardo though. I prefer his looser style, and his drumming on "South Of Heaven" not only made me sit up and take notice of drumming in music for the first time, but is still one of the best drumming performances of all time IMO.
I have to go with Paul Bostaph. He's done some really amazing work imo, like Shovel Headed Killing Machine by Exodus, Formation of Damnation by Testament, and God Hates Us All by Slayer, which along with Christ Illusion and Reign in Blood, is one of my favorite Slayer albums. Don't get me wrong though, Dave is probably parallel to Paul in skill, I just prefer the work Bostaph has done.
