I have to go with Arise. One of my all time favorite albums. Beneath the Remains is right up there too. Both thrash metal classics. Schizophrenia doesn't get the credit it deserves either. Mainly because of the poor production, but musically it's killer.
I like a few songs off Chaos AD. It never really did anything for me like their previous albums did.

For me it has to be Arise. It was a more mature and memorable out put then Beneath The Remains. It shows how far they really had progressed since Morbid Visions. Most of my favorite Sepultura songs are on that album.

Although I love every Seps album from "Morbid Visions" up to and including "Chaos AD" (yep, I actually love that album!), "Arise" is without doubt my fave. It's like "Beneath The Remains", only with a newfound songwriting nuance, and a touch of extra class. They managed to mature as songwriters, and create more elaborate soundscapes without actually changing the style that they had on the previous album. Which is something that they would do on their follow up. "Arise" took the classic sound of "Beneath The Remains" to it's logical conclusion, totally revamping it, but without losing it's essence and spirit. One of thrash metal's and metal in general's greatest albums. In my humble opinion.

I will go for Arise, would be better if multiple choices were allowed so I could vote for beneath the remains as well.

Beneath The Remains easily, it was Sepultura at their best... Arise is good too but imo not as memorable. Beneath on the other hand has riff after riff after riff of pure awesomeness, never letting down.
