I intended to write a long description of the new site features, but after 18 hours of installing it I'm absolutely exhausted. I'll do it tomorrow, OK?

Most basic things should work. Some won't. There will be bugs, please report them.

Don't worry about some sections like Comics or Funny Stuff, which don't appear in the menu. They will be back later.

Too bad there aren't as many smileys anymore, but good think you can just click on them and they appear. If I find other spiffy new features I will definitely act like a hyper child and praise you for all of eternity. (I'm already up to 3 or 4 eternities as of right now!):bow:

Ill keep this in mind, i was going to open a few more threads to get the forum going, but i didnt have anything to say, so ill let it be for now, someone else can open them up later.

Yes there are some marking improvements. Mind you would have been nice to see the old e-mails so you knew how you kept in touch with. Was all the data backed up and migrated?

I give my thanks to the staff too, great work on the forum, ive been using for half hour or so, and loving every minute of it, so many better options.

One question... is there a way I can add pictures for bands/albums etc? If so how?

Wow, as if things haven't changed enough since like November. What happened to the site that I was a part of. I'm not trying to say I don't appreciate the work, I do.

This place just won't be the same as I remembered it. Personally as much as I love and think it's important people like Ivan and the admins have such a dedicated and active role in the site, is it possible too keep the site's past around? With all of the threads gone, we have lost priceless words that so many great posters have put their hearts and minds into. What was it all for.

I feel like this site in order to move into the future is destroying it's past. Metalstorm isn't just an online database that people look at. It's the people that make it up. None of my crew feels like they'll be returning here, and I certainly have enjoyed being here too much to just abandon the site. I'll pop in and out, but it was disappointing today when I logged in and saw all that we have done is gone. The site layout is gone, the posts are gone, and so many of the people are gone.

Don't make me leave you metalstorm, but I feel you may leave me.

However, I agree with AtLossForWords...this place has changed so damn much since I starting coming here...MS just is not the same anymore and never will be again...it's like we have to start from scratch...I tried to log in...took me hours! I didn't even notice that the log in function was at the top in faded black letters that I couldn't see...
