Interested in hearing what injuries you've taken in the mosh pit? Ive had the usual ons that you get, bruises and sawness, and one time i had my big toe dislocated by this massive guy that jump backwards and landed on my toe popping it out. Oh my word did it hurt, but the pit was to compacked that i had to wait until the set change over to go off to the side and pop it back in. 'Injuries You've Had In The Pit' meaning exactly what it says. Its more interesting and entertaining to hear about the injuries ... not whether you stand there doing nothing. Thank you for you cooperation.

When I went to a Children Of Bodom concert all hell broke loose! When the first opening band played, One Man Army & The Undead Quartet, the crowd went mad and everyone pushed each other and stuff like that. Finally, we all near the scene fell . . . I nearly broke my friends leg cause I fell on it and he still stood up. Another one of my friends is very tall and he fell on a little girl. That was mad! The funny thing was that after the concert me and my friends talked with the bass player and drummer from One Man Army & The Undead Quartet and the bass player said: "You guys should've seen, all the fans near the stage fell on each other". And we like: "Ehhh, yeah . . . we were there ".

Hmmm, Injured ribs, those are really nasty when you are moshing and some guy runs into you with the full force of his flying elbows. Bruises on my face, when people grab and everyone runs into you plus your fingers hurt from getting them jabbed in the mosh. The nastiest Ive ever done, this guy ran into me, and I was really drunk so I pushed him as he started running into the mosh again and he just took off from the force of my push and everyone laughed...hmm...good times.

Hmm, I think I've CAUSED injuries to other people more than I've received myself...but yeah, the worst injury I've had occurred when I took someone's elbow in my right eye *pow* and the result was a black circle of about 10 cm diameter around my eye for the whole following week! Well, that's metal!

I got a black eye in the pit once from someone's elbow... Some guy's spike collar got me in the neck once and left me with a nice gash... I sprained my ankle once because guy stepped down on it as I was moving my foot away from him at the same time...I think that's it...

I've suffered two broken noses in the pit and countless other more minor injuries - sprained ankles, dislocated fingers, cuts, bruises, etc. - but, like Tron said, I definitely caused more than I received.

I never get into mosh that crap and childish the fact is to enjoy in a concert jump, dance, scream, whatever not to start an animal-dork-pit action that's so lame, so when somebody try to push me to get into just refuse and if it's necessery kick his ass =) really I'm an anti mosher

I don't remember any injuries, but once I've lost my watch in the crowd and after that I don't wear any other. Hand watches are definitely not for me, those in phone are better

Wow, I feel much luckier than a lot of people here. Then again, I never spend an entire gig in the mosh pit. I've just really received sores the morning after, feet been trampled on, head been hit and poked and proded by spikes but nothing has pierced the skin.

I think i agree with Dam3k. I go to a metal gig to enjoy the music, not to go there and pound the shit out of people and worry about flying punches and stuff. At one event i went to the death spiral got heaps out of hand and there were just full on brawls. I want to stay and listen to the brutallity in the music not worry about whether im going to get brutally hit.

Agressive music brings energys, that you take out and enjoy taking out (If your not a little girl) in the mosh pit. That prhase is pathetic, not me.^^ I'm sure more than one artist think like me, stop this now, don't try to justificate urself if u wanna injury urself do it at home, but don't fuck me at a concert cuz u'll be hard wounded if u mess the rest around, when I go to concerts there are always the same nerds doing the fucking mosh the 90% of the people is jumping screaming or whatever so I'm not the unique... -.-

A guy i was talking to in a cd store a couple of days ago showed me where he got a heap of his front teeth kicked out by a guy crowd surfing with steel caps. Knocked out the 2 bottom centres, and on top a K9, front centre and the one inbetween the two.He had a plate in so you couldnt tell, be he had a pretty nasty scar on his upper lip.

I usually stay away from the moshing, speicifcally because of this. I have bounced around in mosh pits once or twice and gotten a bloody toe and taken a couple punches. I found it was fun for a while, but it made it harder to listen to the music and wasn't really worth the pain. Moshing can be kind of annoying if you are trying to see the band. A great example was a Necrophagist show, where all I really wanted to do was get up close and watch Muhammed's hands as he played the guitar. I kept getting shoved around like crazy and found that all the moshing really made the event much less enjoyable. I feel some metal shows should happen in concert halls or theaters (although I do respect moshing most of the time).

During an Iron Maiden concert someone threw a beer bottle and it hit me AND my friend in the head. And during the Children Of Bodom concert (which I mentioned earlier) my friend broke his toe as someone jumped on it with some weird steel boots several times.

personally I think moshing at a band you paid to see is fucking stupid. Some people have tried to get me involved but i wouldnt fucking move cause I wanted to watch the damn show, not get wrung up with a bunch of moshers.I would only mosh if it was a band I didnt care about and even then I dont know if I even would. In my opinion i think its just pointless.but thats my opinion and no one really needs to comment on my own opinion but feel free to do so,but be forwarned,I most likely wont care.
