Poor production, lack of originality, lack of native influences ( its true about most of them), lack of innovation, lack of knowledge...etc! and millions of other reasons make these things SUCK!

31.03.2010 - 13:23 Written by [user id=41986] on 30.03.2010 at 12:13 Have you got any links to downlodable stuff? I've read about them in MA but that's all, would like to give it a try. Don't care if it's not anything that superb, the anti-Islamic themed lyrics are enough to make it worth checking...For once at least. ....And there's a flaw in the title. "Persian" is mistyped. Written by Varegan on 30.03.2010 at 23:49 You traitor! Just kidding. Whatever, why do you hesitate to start an oustanding band then? You can count on my beloved genius parrot ( ) for backing vocals. lol Written by Varegan on 30.03.2010 at 23:53 Hahahaha! Hatman akharesham salavat ferestadin. Weren't you like this? --> I remember you telling me about it but i thought it was some underground concert. It should've been legal then, right?

05.04.2010 - 03:19 Written by AiwiAstwihad on 31.03.2010 at 13:23 because i'm lazy and to be honest, my skills are very poor yet and i havent found my influences and source of inspirations, i believe i'm still young for serious acts and there's still a lot to learn and worst of all i have a fuckin military service to do very soon, and even worse is that some nights i must sleep hungry because i have no money to buy the cheapest fast foods, so its clear that i cant buy a new instruments and needed stuff, and even if i suddenly find a treasure and buy my stuff it would be impossible for me to find band mates amongst these emo iranian kiddos who have no idea about my taste of music! anyway i dont know... maybe things get better after military shit P.S: i can eat your parrot right now

Things will sure get better after military service, believe me...When it's over you'll be emplyed more easily and since you are capable, will soon succeed...Good luck bro.

01.06.2010 - 21:32 Written by Varegan on 30.03.2010 at 23:49 Totally agreed. Good Metal bands in Iran are less than brain cells in Mahmood's skull. Near zero. Of course there must a few good bands too, but so far anything I've heard was crap. I prefer to listen to Suzan Roshan rather than most of these so called Metal bands..

I just listened to 30 seconds of a Zakhm song on last.fm. While it's not the sort of music about which an opinion can be formed in 30 seconds, it sounded like they could potentially develop into a decent band. I tried listening to some of the other songs on there but they turned out to be from a mid-90s Hindi movie also called Zakhm.

I found a new band; Phenomenal ! [ Gothic Metal ] Phenomenal band is one of the Iranian classic metal bands formed in 2006 in Tehran by Rouzbeh Shahrokhi, Ali Esfahani, Arash Pajand Moghaddam and Vahid Esfahani. They sound strange and we can't tag them "Gothic" and nothing more. There are many supreme instrumental songs in their full-length album including female operatic vocals and you can feel unique atmosphere in every song. You can also check The Best Iranian Albums: http://metalstorm.net/users/list.php?list_id=1325
