I own a buckle with the initials COBHC on it! At least in my country it's rare...

I own a special In Flames boxset of their latest 'Come Clarity'. It's numbered and I think it's limited to 1000. It's a plexi cube with the album split in 2 cd's, a DVD and a CD-ROM.

I recently aquired on ebay the debut album from a Norwegian hard-rock band called Vagabond, which features ex-Masterplan vocalist Jorn Lande. It was the first album to feature Jorn. It's now out of print, so is very rare. I bought it for $34, which isn't too bad I think

A song by a band named Mystical, that was Stella Tormanoff's (Star Queen vocals) first band.
Some Korn acoustic songs, and an Evanescence cover of Thoughtless.

But the Deadworld E.P. Would be a much more rare buy, even though I like The album itself better as far as just enjoyment.

For me, my most precious and appreciated metal thing I own is Vincent's and Danny's pick. Also, all Anathema cd's that I have them signed, especially The Silent Enigma where I got signatures from all the members in that period ( Danny, Vincent Cavanagh, John Douglas and DUNCAN PATTERSON ). Also, I have the last Paradise Lost alboum signed from all members and the Draconian Times, too. I got my Death - Human signed by Chuck Schuldiner and Steve Digiorgio. Finally, I got my tickets from Anathema gig all signed. That's all..

Opeth - Still Day Beneath The Sun 7" test press vinyl limited to 24 copies.

I used to have a mug with the Lacrimosa Logo. But I gave it to Alouqua, she's a bigger Lacrimosa fan than me.

Hm not sure if it is limited but "But what ends when the symbol shatters" from Death in June(not sure if anyone here knows them) seems to be out of print if people spend 40 euros for it on ebay.
Then there's also Ornaments of sins Inhale zyklon..
That pretty much was it.

Yeah dude, I couldn't find it anywhere, and then when I tryed to order it from my local record store,because they're good about getting a hold of rare C.D.'s, it was listed as out of circulation.
So I had to get it over the net, I actually think you and I disscussed this on a different thread.

Yes I think we did. But the weird thing is, A friend and I both bought our copies at an FYE.

Yeah Ill probably buy the Macabre Paradigm 2CD if I like the tape (its still in the mail as I think AWP only got it in last week). I think there are still about ten copies left, and I've heard its similar to the 2CD so it would probably be a good thing to own if you're interested in getting it still.

@Nervel: Glad to see you finally got Le Secret, I recently saw it for sale at Goatowarex for 12 usd/15aus, I'm pissed I went to the effort of another ten bucks to special order it from Fullmoon. Either its worth it, great EP.

Not sure if a guitar counts, but I've got an Epiphone Birds Eye Maple Les Paul - They were a limited edition, and although it's not numbered apart from the serial code, I've never sen another one!

hardly rare really. even black and death metal albums that aren't specifically limited to a set amount usually have around 1000-2000 copies made.

I have the Ultra Limited Edition Collectors Sarcophagus of Nile's Annihilation Of The Wicked! I dunno how many copies there were made, but it's 'ultra limited' I saw it at a shop in Melbourne a while ago, but I didn't have enough money for it. Then one day Nervel said he saw it, so after some international money transfer, he bought it and sent it to me Thanks again dude!

At the Kreator gig in Melbourne I went to last night the threw their picks into the crowd at the end of the show. My mate caught one! The bastard! lol. So I was half a metre from getting another rare thing.

well yeah, the internet is a good source to get rare things, including Out of circulation C.D's, so maby the C.D's you got were used.....

No, they were brand-new. Only two copies I've ever seen though.

The closest i have to a rare item would be Blood Ritual-Black Grimoire digipack (ltd 3000)
