Looking forward to it. For some reason, I want the album to be more complex.

I liked the first album better that the second one... although Control the Storm is epic

Wow! Thats a surprise. I was expecting much worse. Very accecable and enjoyable album.

Delain has become my favorite Symphonic metal band since April Rain. And this album is no disappointment at all

Not bad, but not better than April Rain anyway.
There are 3 o 4 good songs although it's a softer album in general and Burton C. Bell barely contributes to make one song's chorus sound heavy -too bad it reminds me a lot to "Bring me to life"

Decent album, but probably worst of all 3. I like maybe 3 or 4 songs though. If I could I would rate it 7.5.

Listenable. I didn't expect it.

I'm confused whether i should check this out or not, can anyone please tell me 1 or 2 of the best songs of the album?

You would miss an enjoyable few listens, beyond that I don't think it offers much. Its just standard, well played/produced symphonic stuff. There are some good songs here though, I like 'Milk and Honey' and 'Babylon' best probably.

Mastodon wasn't as good as their previous releases, Opeth's Heritage was well below par in fact I found it to be their worst album by a mile. And the Wizard album is tremendous. (I like it anyway) As for the Delain album, I gave it 1. because I couldn't give it a fucking zero. But nevermind, at the end of the day its all down to personal preferance and if we all liked the same stuff It'd be a bore.

I understand what you're saying and you're probably right, Justin Bieber would be my worst nightmare along with a million other pop-shite bands, but if I really don't like something then its my choice to slag it off or mark it down. Delain just grate my brain and I fucking hate them, so my 1 still stands,

It's pop rock and it's bad ! I'm not against pop rock , I even listen to Evanescence albums from time to time ... but this is really lame .

Not a bad album for its genre. The poppy melodies I think are in excess here, but the guitar work is pretty choppy, an works well alongside the synethesisers.

When you consider their debut, the only logical way was down. Hopefully this is the bouncing point.
And when is pop metal gonna be a genre?

I liked it. Not as good as April Rain and somewhat different in style but still very enjoyable. Good background music:)

More the feel than the lyrics themselves. I just get the impression listening to some of the songs that it's a rather spiritual album. Haven't read the lyrics, though.

would surprise me seeing the band members are all atheists and agnosts as far as I know

Disappointing after their previous album, but still OK. Best songs for me: Get The Devil Out Of Me, Hit Me With Your Best Shot, Milk And Honey.

Disappointing album, Delain loses their originality with each new album and gets more boring.

Good album but sound pop rock, i expected it more symphonic and heavy. Charlotte had a beautiful voice but again her voice sound a little bit pop rock. The song are fun to listen and sing, the music and lyrics stay in your mind all day long. i like the album in general it my first on of Delain than i buy it at a concert, i will go buy the other album for sure.

The production makes this album sound too poppy, but I can say that live, Delain and these songs are much better and heavier.
