"Slania" and "Spirit" are their best work till now and "Helvetios" coming in...I think they gonna fucking explode. Too much excitement!!

I'd say that December 2012 is not the correct date. It's more like December 2011. The album is done already and it should be released in early 2012.

We usually put December when we don't know the exact date of the release.

First listen:

01 Prologue: Not that special; just a man telling a Rhapsody Of Fire-like story.
02 Helvetios: The first minute I was like: Nightwish?!
03 Luxtos: Very catchy! You won't be able to sing along the chorus, though.
04 Home: Awesome!
05 Santonian Shores: Starts cool. So far the best track for me...
06 Scorched Earth: Instrumental track which reminds me of Turkish music. Epic, but it gets boring after two minutes.
07 Meet The Enemy: I love it!
08 Neverland: The vocals at the background make this song very special.
09 A Rose For Epona: Damn, she can sing!
10 Havoc: This song features a lot of awesome guitar and drum parts.
11 The Uprising: I like the part with the talking man in the middle of the song.
12 Hope: Soft instrumental track. It fits the album well.
13 The Siege: Damn, she can scream!
14 Alesia: I like this duet, but it won't be a song I'm going to listen to very often.
15 Tullianum: Fly rain man?
16 Uxellodunon: Just a normal Eluveitie track.
17 Prologue: I liked the choir they added to this outro.

Rating: 8.7/10 - Fantastic!

For those of you who don't know it yet, the album has leaked about 6 hours ago. Yet to give it my first spin, downloading in some minutes!

Holy fuck, the album is amazing. I just could not resist, had to download it, now I can't stop listening to it. They didn't changed their sound, very similar to previous works, but songs are much better than the previous one. And I just love the story and the concept of it. Not sure, but it will probably be 9/10. Definitely gonna buy it, well worth it.

To be honest, the woman singing on 'A rose for epona' really brings it down a lot...hopefully her voice will be omitted elsewhere on the album.

Need to vote.... deserves a 15 at least.

The girl singing in this album is unbearable. I'd rather listen to a buzzing squeaky entry phone.

Yeah i agree, their music has taken a much 'poppier' turn. Oh well, it is still 'bearable' for the most part.

I've always considered them "poppish". I really don't see, or hear, how this album is any different from previously released albums. I like it though.

This album has the same problem Everything Remains had : layers of cool folk on generic (read "boring") Gothenburg metal. Plus, Anna taking more and more place? I don't know... Her contribution was great on "Slania's Song" and "Qoth the Raven", but she sounds fucking annoying wether she sings ("A Rose for Epona") or shrieks ("The Siege"). The band is even beginning to recycle old melodies, which is never a good thing. I'll keep on listening and hope this will grow on me but so far I'm not very enthusiast.

I say POO to the nay sayers, this is one of my most antipated releases of 2012!!

definitely has value to me as an album, but not as good as the last ones most likely. Still needs time.

Bah, nothing new or special here. I gave it 3 chances, and all I can say is that "Meet The Enemy" is a good song.

Yes, Eluveitie always made a generic sound, not original at all. Evocation I - The Arcane Dominion was a kind of exception, though.

I don't feel any thing special in this band .
