Dimmu Borgir - Announce Special UK Tour

Having last trekked through the U.K. in 2009 with Lamb Of God and Five Finger Death Punch on Metal Hammer U.K.'s Defenders Of The Faith tour, Dimmu Borgir have changed gears and will be performing in eleven small clubs from Brighton to Birmingham to provide fans with the ultimate intimate show experience.

There will be no support band and Dimmu will perform two sets. The first set will be a full album in its entirety as chosen by the fans and the second set will include a variety of Dimmu classics.

Dimmu Borgir guitarist Silenoz states: "It feels great to finally announce more U.K. dates! We have not only kept our promise about coming back after playing just one show on our last run, but this time around, we will also do a special 2 hour set. You don't want to miss this! See you down the pit!"

U.K. fans can vote on the band's official Facebook for the following three albums: For All Tid, Stormblåst, Enthrone Darkness Triumphant.

Damn this sounds awesome. I wish they would do this for the US. That's a hard decision to make between those 3 albums too, I would prefer them to play the best songs off all 3 of those albums rather than every song off just one of those albums.

They'll only play one of the albums live, hence the voting.

Looks like "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" will win the poll, which pleases me...

For the first time in years, they have a brilliant idea. I'd love to see any of those 3, specially Stormblast

Yeah I noticed that right after. Thought they would vote for every show. Anyway, even though Enthrone is the best IMO, I'd probably rather see For all tid. How often do you get a chance to hear even one of those songs at their concerts?

This is awesome, but it's just a shame that certain keyboard parts will be played over a MacBook Pro, like when I saw them live last November. Too bad they're not doing this in the States.
