Here's something for the person that wants something out of the ordinary. I'm a member and I created it but it's not the reason I'm here. Any kind of feedback is welcome. I guess I've heard most things over the years so I won't be upset if someone is negative (actually most people are). I would call it a mixture of thrash, black metal, heavy metal and rock. Enjoy!!

People might be more inclined to listen to this now. People are lazy otherwise.

It's nice when black metal is the periphery of the music, rather than the focus. A bit like Dawnbringer perhaps (not unlike your stuff).

Not even gonna lie, I wasn't gonna check this out but the posted videos made it easier so I bit.

I only listened the 2 songs posted, but this is kind of good. I like the mix between clean/harsh vocals, it reminds me of Bifrost (the tone is also very similar). Oh and the production is also clear, I wasn't expecting such "profesional" sound by looking at the cover

Thanks a lot. I don't spend a lot of time on the covers and I've heard before that people think they are shit but the interesting thing that is more or less new to me is the positive response I've received now. Thanks again.

It's interesting. You know I have been writing lyrics for more than 25 years not only for my own bands but also for other bands and up until now only two people complained about them. I guess it could be English not being my native toungue.

You can write lyrics about fisting Margaret Thatcher for all I care, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to the musical quality.

Possibly. I mean I'm sure Kvarforth's lyrics wouldn't be as depressive had they been written in English. Or if the guys from Gris didn't write their lyrics in French.

I know Google translate isn't the greatest, but when you translate those lyrics line by line, you get some pretty facepalm-worthy results.

And I agree. The only reason I noticed them was because the video had them written out. The music isn't worse off as a result. Besides, it's not like metal bands are known for featuring Shakespearean poetry (unless they copy something he wrote of course).

I'd never go out of my way to find lyrics. I just notice them if they're in a booklet or if I want to see what a line or two looks like translated in Google.

Yeah and that's how most people feel I guess. What annoys me is that I've always felt that lyrics are very important and I spend a lot of time on those lyrics. Most of the time the firt thing I put together before there's even a single riff is the lyrics (or the drafts for them) so it really hurts when someone believes they are "cheesy". Maybe I should do a "Valfar" and write all the lyrics in some old almost forgotten swedish dialect.

It wasn't my intent to offend you. I just felt as I read along with the music that there were some cheesy lines (especially the chorus in the first song), but hey - it's not like I'm writing lyrics for a band.
