I've already seen a bunch of 2015 releases being announced, and even streaming in full in some locations, so I figured I'd go ahead and create a place for those releases to be posted. To start we'll have the new Swamp Witch album The Slithering Bog. It's a sludge filled doom album that simply slays, and is streaming in its' entirety on the Swamp Witch bandcamp page. The official release date (for the physical versions) is February 20th, 2015.

I'm just going to sit, lonely, in my thread listening to the two released songs on Devouring Stars upcoming album (February 1, 2015). It's chaotic, it's dissonant, it's unforgiving, and most of all it's a fourth thing. Should appeal to anyone who likes dark and ravaging music, so check it out if that sounds like you.

Manuel has started doing tattoos a little over a year ago, as well. Totally intense guy, btw. But great nonetheless.

02.12.2014 - 00:18 Written by Marcel Hubregtse on 02.12.2014 at 00:12 Damn, I may need to buy that book. Saw some Hexvessel, Essenz, DsO, Teitenblood.... lots of really cool shit. And going through (very briefly) some of Ketola's work, I'm finding a lot of really nice artwork (much of which I simply didn't know the artist behind, again). Thanks again!

Really like the Devouring Star stuff, been following them for a while. Daemon Worship puts out some nasty stuff.

I can't find much info on the band, and as far as i'm aware that's primarily because they're brand new to the scene.

So apparently Chthe'ilist's debut will be coming out in 2015, according to an official FB statement. Quote: For those who may not have heard their brilliant demo, you can listen to the whole thing here. Very excited for this one, and I honestly never thought it would actually happen.

Heard a new Sotajumala sample on the thread here the other day and am actually a bit excited to listen to that when it comes out. Otherwise the only others I've seen coming out in 2015 that caught my interest so far are the new Blind Guardian sounds promising from the samples and new Hellveto/Neoheresy could be interesting as well.

For those needing an additional push to listen to that new Desolate Shrine track, I'll post it below. Their upcoming album is currently my most anticipated of 2015, and if they wind up improving upon their previous album in any way, I wouldn't be surprised if it wound up being my AOTY in 2015. But that's looking too far into the future, just sit back, relax, and let Desolate Shrine tighten you the fuck back up

There is this one album I'm waiting for that's supposed to be a 2014 release that keeps getting delayed, I'll see if it ends up being a 2015 album.

Some rather delicious sounding sludgy blackened hardcore due out in February. Really nice sound and being released on Throat Runner (cue wetness from Ilham) so you know it's gonna be good. There's also another Call of the Void album out around the same time. Sounds decent. Competent sounding sludge potential. Dig that artwork a lot.

12.12.2014 - 14:13 Written by [user id=4365] on 12.12.2014 at 14:09 Haha you know me too well. Indeed; the latest Lord Dying I liked, but didn't fall head over heels for it. But it's nevertheless deserving a fair review, and I can totally see how others would love it much more than I do. I haven't listened to the new one - apart from that track they have on bandcamp. Call Of The Void - never of it, sounds indeed right up my boulevard. Thanks, added to the list - this is getting old.
