Tool - In The Studio
Tool guitarist Adam Jones has recently shared a video filmed by Motörhead's drummer Mikkey Dee. It appears that the two bands are working on new releases in the same recording facility in Los Angeles. Tool have confirmed that they are working on new material before but fans are still waiting for the follow-up to 2006's 10,000 Days.
Mikkey Dee says in the video: "Hi, everyone. I'm in the studio. I've been working hard all day today. I'm going into the lounge. I know that Adam is here - they're next door to us, the guys from Tool."
The drummer runs into Jones and Motörhead's guitarist Phil Campbell. He says: "What are you guys doing here, Adam?" who replies, "We're working on some tunes, having fun, bugging you guys."
So, Motörhead are recording the follow-up to 2013's Aftershock and it seems like Tool are working on some new tunes. Officially, Tool hasn't confirmed that they are recording. However, Adam Jones has posted a picture of the band in the studio a few months ago.

I still remember one of the very first news regarding the new Tool album that was spread two or three years ago. It said something like "ADAM JONES WROTE A COUPLE OF GOOD RIFFS ZOMG"... Yeah so what. Maynard burps after drinking a bottle of Chianti. Seriously though, people should start hoping for this goddamn album once some real details (title, tracklist, cover artwork, snippets) are revealed. Until then it's just talking bullshit, for me.
