I gotta say, first listen was disappointing, because after "Countdown" I didn't catch any good songs. But after few spins it gets better. Definitely better than Maximalism. New vocalist is good replacement for Jake E (who btw sounds bad with CyHra). "Countdown", "Inferno" and "The Score" are my favourite.

As weird as it is, good album, if the second half had been as good as the first it would have been just killer. But after phenomenal Dream there's nothing that really shines. Nils is a competent singer and has a more epic and powerful timbre compared to lyrical tone of Jake but he really got no space to sing 'cause he gets downtuned in every chorus. Unfortunately.

Like the band and Helix a lot. It's exactly what I'd expect from them as they become more mature. All the songs vary from very good to excelent, no fillers, no songs that I'll skip, no unmemorable songs. This goes even for "Dream" which is quite different. Nils Molin proved to be exactly what they needed to bring their music even further. If anyone likes/understands the thing Amaranthe is, they'll like the album. A big fat 10/10 for this one!

This is exactly what I call "Manufactured music". Something from here, essence from that, likeable melodies here, something heavy, something sweet, everything in stylish package, but synthetic as fuck!

Their music is still DAMN catchy to listen to, but they haven't made anything as decent as their debut.

A few good songs, the rest meh. The Score is probably the best Amaranthe song ever imo.
