Finally took some time off to blast my CD copy of this album. Did while reading American Psycho and I must say that is a perfect combo.

This was raw and violent. But the undertones of melancholia, the longing for a fabricated version of the future, gives the buried melodies some extra punch. Reminds me of Gnaw Their Tongues but with aspects of Imperial Triumphant for the amount of dissonance but also of Les Joyaux De La Princesse because of the super immersive samples. Really good. So glad I managed to get a copy of the new one too.
