Another album of shorter songs (which I assume are approximations)... not sure how to feel. Intrigued but wary, I suppose.

That artwork alone is so Jari Lindholm (even though he didn't create the actual cover).

Disappointing artwork. Still should be a quality listen though.

Nope, songs will almost certainly be exactly that long. It seems to be the same concept as their latest album Nebula Septem, which consists of 7 songs exactly 7 minutes long each.

^Yeah, that's the first thing I noticed looked for, no way those are approximations since this band plays around with that kind of thing.

Also, bring it on, the previous two were my favourites from this band, so definitely excited for this one.

Goes to show how out of the loop I've been. Judging by the ratings it seems like they've regressed. Have they changed styles with these shorter albums or something?

They've sped up the clock on their progressive extreme doom to midtempo and sectioned the tracks into these neat time chunks. Strangely, on actual listen it doesn't feel forced at all and the songwriting is pretty good.

Also, don't let the ratings fool you, as it is a widespread voting phenomenon that has touched pretty much every band on this site past a divide around 2010 or so. Never could figure out the why though...
