Swedes This Ending, who signed a new deal with Black Lion Records earlier this week and are ready to enter the recording studio, have confirmed that their long-time drummer Fredrik Andersson has decided to leave the band for other endeavours. Taking over the drums for the new outing recordings will be the band's guitarist Peter Nagy, also drummer in Mörk Gryning. The four-piece have already booked Wing Studios in October, where the recording process will take place. Sverker Widgren will handle the recording, mixing and mastering of the new album.

Statement from the band: We are now in preparations for recording the new This Ending album. We knew that Peter Nagy, who is our guitar player, also is a skilled drummer. We therefore proposed if he would like to play the drums on the upcoming album. Peter accepted the task and has been rehearsing intensively to be able to give the best possible performance on the album. We are confident that Peter will do an amazing job and can't wait to hear the final outcome. At the moment it's not decided if Peter is going to play drums live or on future This Ending albums."

Peter comments: "Filling the shoes of Fredrik won't be an easy task, but I like challenges. Hopefully my drumming from the Mörk Gryning albums will bring in some positive vibes for This Ending on the upcoming new album.
