What an unappealing cover art. The pre released song sounds good, I generally like Spectral Lore's approach to main melodies so much and the layered songs really enhance that.

The large being on the cover art looks so uninterested in what the little being is trying to bother it with.

What an eyesore. Easily the worst Spectral Lore cover art ever. Also strong contender for most awful cover art of the year.

I feel less inclined to listen to this album because of the cover art...

I do believe it is a badly placed mohawk.

I couldn't care less about the cover art. Horrible albums have great cover art. So what?
My gripe is that the guitar sound is really monotonous and it's pretty much sounds the same for tracks 1 through 3. That's the first 30' of the album. Also, the breakdowns are needlessly long. They seem to add nothing to the song, either. Best example is The Sorcerer Above the Clouds. It's a hard pass for me...

Horrible album. It is a mess. Just playing instruments. No heart in it, just nothing. Only noise. For me unlistenable

Not since III have I felt strongly about a Spectral Lore release but I still have an inexplicable sense of obligation when it comes to giving Ayloss another chance at impressing me.

Album art aside, solid album. Not the best thing ever but it's enjoyable
