These guys are one of the best, most fun folk metal bands out there. I'm highly anticipating this release. The new single sounds great as always.

I liked this one at first listen, and it's now growing on me each time I play it. I normally don't like this kind of "tavern" folk metal all so much, but there's something with this one. Somehow it feels more "serious" and a bit darker than most albums I've heard in this style. Fun and entertaning album.

This is classic traditional Finnish folk metal, much like Finntroll, with lot's of power, energy and strong melodies, the vocals aren't that great, and it's not very well produced but that's not the point here, it's hugely enjoyable the whole way through.

I am slightly bending my voting rules on this one and bumping it to a 9.. Put in the broader sea of metal albums, I'm not sure this deserves a 9, there are many many albums that excite me more. But placed in the folk metal scene, damn this album is one of the best I've heard. It's so exciting, fun, energetic. It has this tavern metal feeling without sounding cheap nor cheesy. I would maybe put this as my favourite pure folk metal album.
