Thanks to ThomasBryant for suggesting this band, this is right up my alley.

Heard the name before but all I knew was that they are more or less just as side-project of Magna Carta Cartel, but without Tobias Forge (Ghost). Should have paid more attention to that detail but never bothered to check them out.
Well, that was a big mistake.

This reminds me a lot of Convulse's Deathstar, even though the genre's don't have anything in common. There's a bit of Pink Floyd in it, but also synth soundtracks, krautrock, avantgarde, progressive metal, industrial and pop. Dark, occult and sinister pop. With a vocalist who could be the frontman of quite a few black metal bands and nobody would even notice a difference. Aluk Todolo? Yes. And no. The more I think about it, the less sense it makes.

All I know for sure is that it's pretty awesome and completely different.
