Outside The Big Four (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax) there have been some awesome thrash bands. Testament, Exodus, Overkill, Vio-Lence, Forbbiden to name a few, but who else kicked ass that doesn't get enough attention and should??

Morbid Saint. Wargasm. Heathen. Intruder are alright too, like a technical version of early Anthrax. All better than how Testament turned out...

Coroner comes to mind.And Sabbat.

Some might be Anacrusis, Annihilator, Mekong Delta, Sodom.

There are soo many thrash bands that are simply put awesome, but are not very well known. Artillery, Anacrusis, Coroner, Dark Angel, Death Angel (Ultra-Violence is rifftastic), Pestilence (first album), Sadus, Sacrifice, Tankard and the rest of the German thrash scene, Target, Toxodeth, Mekong Delta, The Great Kat, Voivod, Watchtower...
and many more

Don't forget another good bands like Coroner, Dark Angel, Death Angel, the "New" Exodus. Most of this bands left the punk influences and became more technical and some even melodic.

yeh, i would say kreator and death angel, both awesome thrash bands love the song betrayer, its brilliant!

Only Sodom song what I like so much are 'Ausghebombt' becaus eits in german

Fueled By Fire and Dekapitator are really great thrash bands. They play like they're from the 80's but really they just released their debut album this year. They're awesome.

We are partly right, the 2000's albums are way different than their earler times.

That's not what he means, I believe Marcel is talking about the early 80s as opposed to the mid/late 80s. "#-wave" refers to a band's debut on the scene, not the different eras of all their productions.

If it's all about the second wave I'd say:

Artillery, Intruder, Heathen, Forced Entry, Morbid Saint, Exhorder, Defiance, Xentrix, Coroner, Toxik, Whiplash.

Sepultura with Derrick Green, Machine head, Trivium and The Haunted. I think these bands are qualified to be the second wave of Thrash metal.

It applies to the Thrash bands that started around 1985 and died off around 1992 (but not necesarily disbanded), if I'm not mistaken (Marcel, feel free to correct me).
