As far as I'm aware, these masochists are the sole pioneers within this innovative style. While uniqueness doesn't necessarily imply quality, the two go hand-in-hand in this scenario. The guitar tone is fashioned in a way which resembles that of djent, while the growling bass claws steadily behind the slow to mid-paced beat. The haunting symphony backed choirs and the susurrating screams pluming in the wake of the instrumentation render this album all the more merciless in it's path of inhumane, inexorable savagery. Truth be told however, once you've heard a few songs, you've heard it all.
