Testament - Announce Remastered Versions Of 'The Legacy' And 'The New Order'


Testament have announced an explosive celebration of the band's enduring legacy and their influential presence in the thrash metal scene. On July 12th, the veteran thrashers will release the remastered versions of their seminal albums, 1987 The Legacy and 1988 classic The New Order, both digitally and on vinyl via Nuclear Blast Records.

Fantastic. I love the Legacy but a good remastering job could make it so much better. Maybe a remastered The New Order will change my opinion on it as well.

The New Order was an album made very quickly under the pressure from the recording company. They added instrumentals and Aerosmith cover to make it 40 minutes long as they did not have enough material ready. So, not great circumstances, but I still like it a lot as it was the first Testament album I had.
