Definitely different sounding album than the debut. But whether the difference is more in the instrumentals or in the vocals is hard to say. Personally I think that the Hammerfall vocalist's voice is not the best fit for these songs, but on the other hand it must be admitted, that he does pretty good job with it. There is some epicness be to heard on these songs, but I wouldn't say it's enough to call this epic HM.

'War In Heaven' and 'Sons Of A Dream' are the songs that impress the most.

P.S. 'War In Heaven' still sounds like a Virgin Steele song

Love this. The information here is wrong, all the songs except for Enemy Mind are early Warlord or Lordian guard tracks and hearing them with proper production is a treat. The Lordian Guard songs sounds so much more alive here. Also love the seamless playing of Mark Zonder, he's playing is truly unique in the genre.
