Early 80s rock/heavy metal. The first song is such a massive tune and there's good songs too afterwards. Not the best album in this style and while it manages to emulate classic rock bands quite well, the keyboards don't manage to emulate Jon Lord, so that is bit of a hindrance here.

Yes it is, and I heard about it just now. And that might just explain the direction Iron Maiden took after Janick joined. Not to blame it on him or anything, there must've been others factors too why Iron Maiden went that direction.
