It may seem trite. Okay it kind of is. But it's still fun. What's the most kvlt band you can think of? I was thinking either Kvist or Thergothon.

I'd say Moonblood is kvlt, and Abruptum.

Fuck black metal man...

You just cut yourself off from the most diverse and interesting (and relevant) form of metal. Congrats!

Oh but you guys not only you... can Flame me or keep arguing with me All ya want... It doesn't really matter. I already said in many topics that I couldn't get into black metal at all... even though I have tried I just don't enjoy it -_- sorry but IMO I ain't cutting myself from nothing I got plenty of other sub-genres at my side.
Thank you for worrying lol.

Is "kvlt" still a thing? I thought people only used it mockingly. :/

Ignoring the whole "Troo kvlt" phenomenon I just consider most raw black metal as kvlt because for some or most people its a nightmare to get used to. For that matter I even consider bands like Hellhammer and Morbid to be kvlt.

I suppose Forest from Russia could fit in here. The slight NS tinge pushes into even more "kvlt" territory.
