Here you can share with your fellow metalstormers your sorrow, your frustration of missing those concerts. Do not forget to tell us why you missed them.
As for me, the last concert I missed was Dream Theater playing at our capital. Why did I miss these Progressive Metal deities? I had no way of getting into San Juan that night so I had to miss it.

I guess I kind of missed the concert aswell seeing as I had to fucking go back to work asap before they noticed I was missing so I had to miss Dillinger Escape Plan, now I'll probably have to wait another year or so before I have another chance to see them.

Written by Dangerboner on 02.12.2007 at 05:26 I almost missed that one, the night before we had Dying Fetus, and I was too tired, it was back to back and during the weekday, but I really love Kataklysm , so I made the decision to skip the 1sr 2, and leave right after Kataklysm was done, which I did and it turned out to be one of the best 1 hour show I've been to  walked in 5 minutes before they started (great timing on my part, and the bus for being late ), was able to push my way to the first row, the energy and interaction of the crowd was amazing, and the band just after their set came to the merchandises table (vs. other bands that only come after the gig is over by 1-3 hrs) and they were very friendly and sociable, I'm really glad that I did not skip

That's awesome that you were able to time Kataklysm perfectly though, but you should have stayed for Chimaira because they are good live too. Did Kataklysm play any new songs?

@pyrom, from In the Arms of Devastation they played Like Angels Weeping, Let Them Burn, Crippled & Broken, nothing from the upcoming album.. and i just got back from the Vader concert, I have just heard that this one was almost canceled, the venue shut down! for tonight's show they built the stage, and brought in speakers, otherwise it would have been a no show! and once again my timing was unbelievable, walked in as they were preparing for Cattle Decapitation and you were right they played for 30 minutes, same for Malevolent Creation and Vader played for 1 hour. I spoke to someone there who knows the band and told me that the state patrol was the reason they did not let Vader's bus to continue on, they made them go 600 miles out of their way

Kataklysm was solid (better than the last time I saw them), Divine Heresy was awesome, but overall not a concert to feel too bad about missing.

I missed Gamma Ray+Helloween, Porcupine Tree and Nightwish this winter. Mostly because I couldn't afford it, and PT was the only one I was really interested in anyway. Oh well, at least I already got tickets for the upcoming Kamelot gig in April.
