Devin probably has one or two better albums than this, but Deconstruction was the one that made me a fan of his, so it has a very special place in my collection. The funniest part is finding all the guest vocals, there's a helluva lot of them everywhere.

This is just noise, absolutely no structure or melodic parts.

I disagree. Every song has structure imo, the shorter songs have very simple verse-chorus structures, and the rest have very long-form crescendo structures. And as someone who can't stand music without highly melodic sections, I thought there were plenty all throughout this album, for example 6:00 in "Planet Of The Apes" and most of "Sumeria" and "Juular", and the disco-esque and subsequent merry-go-round parts of "The Mighty Masturbator".

Hell, even the climaxes of "Deconstruction" and "Poltergeist" are extremely melodic.

An incredible production, a mishmash of everything I love about Devin, making it my second favourite of his albums.
