Great List, and agree on most of it, though I think Amaranthe, Midnattsol, WT and Amorphis are way behind and deserve to be more ahead, but other than THUMBS UP!!

Well for Amaranthe I like the compositions but the vocal lines fuck me up
Midnattsol I just hate Carmen's voice and the album bores me in general
Within Temptation is not bad but far from Enter or Mother Earth
Amorphis, the album was a big disappointment for me, I'm a big fan of this band, but this album miss something

It's a question of personal taste after all!

I don't see a lot of black metal on your list but you'll probably really enjoy the new Wolves album. It's very melodic, atmospheric stuff and not your typical raw black metal.

I really like black metal but it's something recent so I still not that into. Will try it anyway :-)

Interesting list, for Deconstruction being first. Not sure about E-psilon being so high up, not that its a terrible album, its just that it's looks weak compared to other top albums of 2011. Everything else is ok.

I actually really liked that album. Maybe it's not something everyone would like but for me it was a good one. On the other side, everyone seems to love Amaranthe and I don't, at all.

I wasn't so keen on Amaranthe at first, but they have a few nice songs e.g. Automatic. Also musically similar to E-psilon but with less techno-trance stuff. Blood Stain Child do have some insanely catchy tunes. I'd recommended listening to BTC's Mosaiq if you haven't already, less female vocals and for me 'more heavier'.

Yeah Amaranthe is really less techno but on the other side the clean voices give to it the popular "poppy" sound. For me Amaranthine sounds like a song by Céline Dion. I didn't listened Mosaiq yet, but I will :-)

Cold Comfort by Autumn - it is an amazing album! More experimental than the previous release.

I liked the previous better.

Actually I'm friend of the singer, that's one of the reasons. But indeed, it's a very great record with an awesome production and very great compositions!
