At the graves?
lol
Ya, perhaps they named themselves after the King Diamond track?
Or they really like At The Gates.

Ahuge Tool ripp-off, but still it's good enough to be mistaken for one of their album Cool new album from a band called Stoneburner And it seems Funerary Call are back to hunt us with Fragments from the Aethyr http://crucialblast.bandcamp.com/album/fragments-from-the-aethyr

The new Wodensthrone? I'm into it. It undeniably claims an "epic" atmosphere without inserting obnoxious synths or war-like chants into every track; they do it naturally through atmospheric riffing. It doesn't break any ground really, but it is organic, energetic, and well constructed.
---- Heavy metal is the law.

My favorite of the year so far is Sigh's In Somniphobia. Litrosis and Xandria's new ones are reall good too.

"The Great Old Ones" with their debut album "Al Azif" sounds really good. No idea what genre this exactly is but M/A says it's Ambient BM. Tags in the video says Post Atmospheric BM or something like that. Nevertheless, a very good album.

A friend told me to check out Baroness, so I just heard their latest single (album releasing July 17th by the way) and not really impressed. Do their older stuff sound like this? Or more sludgy?

23.06.2012 - 21:38 Written by The Turbanator on 23.06.2012 at 20:00 Turb, you know my musical tastes pretty well. I don't like Baroness very much. Their whole "twangy" guitar sound gets old. I've listened to both their releases a few times now and I just don't get them. I prefer Mastodon instead.

Sectu - Gerra (2012) I'm not sure what to make of it, yet, but it has some moments and the musicianship and production are good. It's a bit on the clean side for the usually death metal tastes of mine, though I've found it interesting so far after a couple times through.
