I like the word Retribution.... anyway, it's kind of hard to vote unless I know the genre you play.

Why not make a word up out of the given names? Think about the possibilities:

Rise to Vindiction: Rindiction or Vise, ah, ah?
Rise to Hate: Hase, or smth... lol
Rapture Refused: Rapfused, or Refture

Fuck it, this is going to take too long, you get the point!

I prefer Rise to Vindiction, it has a ring to it. And besides, the other options are not that good.

Rapture refused is by far the best, because it's semi-intelligent and not reminiscent of meat-headed style metal... unless that's what you're going for.

Haha, I don't like RR so much cos it reminds me of the coreish band Refused... although their song "New Noise" does kick a lot of ass. Don't like the Miasmas cos they remind me of The Black Dahlia Murder...

I like Ethereal Defiance, probably because of Cathedral's The Ethereal Mirror, but one thing I always check for is non-cool diseases/disorders that have the same initials. I'm pretty sure there's one of those for ED.

True, but if someone never listened to your band, and your called "The boom boom boys", chances are most ignorant people out there wont give you a chance.

The name is not more important than your music. If a person will listen to you for your name, someone will not listen you. People should be listen to you for your music. Not your name. Although, the name is important. Because, it will perform you.

Rise to vindication, it's the most dynamic! But, ahem, reading all these names was quite funny! It's a little bit kitch isn't it? But RtV is good, it calls to battle!

true, but what metal band is called "The boom boom boys"? (where do you come up with these stuff???)
a band can change its name, of be named after other band's song or something, but if the name is chosen by the members of the band most likely it will reflect their lyrics as they are also writen by them, just like you do not sit down and tell yourself "let's write a song" you can't sit down and say "let's name my band", it will come to you eventually, and if not you can always take another band's name and put your country's name at the side : Band X (country)
