A friend lend me a cd from Misty Fate, it´s really good, excellent music. The album is 'breath of the end'

They sound like death metal, grindcore, doom metal, and black metal bands names...is this true? I'll make a note to download those names and give them a listen though

Yeah, something like that, but I think it´s more death metal. To me it sounded a lot like Eternal Tears of Sorrow, it´s very similar. I really liked it, and I think it´s cool that people outside of Colombia starts to listen to these bands, that could really help them start to get the audince they deserve.

Ok guys I have a question .....when I was very very young I heard this band and I really like them ...but I don't remember the name exactly it was something like 14 monjas violadas ?am I right ?well just out of curiosity uhmmm I remember my cousin knew them or something and I know we were very close and stuff but ahhh this chicken memory ...so anyways ....I guess it was something like that correct me if I'm wrong ....

you forget bands like, witchtrap,nightmare,twilight glimer,perpetual,kronos,inquisition and ocultus great band from here .... if you asked me about colombian bands i will answer you that colombian metal is the best metal in southamerican in the moment bands like masacre eyy ethereal and eternal those bands are selling in all southamerica and ome parts of europe and usa ... so i am ver very happy for those great bands and one advice for everydy listen colombian metal you will love it specially witchtrap an nightmare

I have a small but a very nice collection of Colombian Metal: Twilight Glimmer's "Paradox"; "Odas en Concierto" of Neurosis Inc.; "Requiem", "Barbarie y Sangre...." "Muerte Verdadera Muerte" and "Total Death" of Masacre; "Hipostasis" of Underthreat and Mistyfate's "Embracing the Death" and "Breath of the End". All these bands, except of Underthreat, were here in Bolivia, all of those were great concerts and the guys of Masacre are great persons too . I like a lot the Death Metal of Masacre and the music of Mistyfate are great, really great

To be honest, I know only one Colombian metal band - Inquisition. Very powerful and also enjoyable black metal band. But like I understand they are more like a US bm band now.

yeah they live in USA now make metal here in colombia is very very hard to do we dont have suport and sponsors but inquistion have colombian blood

And feels colombian too! i was in one concert (a pretty hard one if you ask) and I Dagon was really happy of being here, in our country!!!!! Inquisition, not my style but a really good band

But I remember one good band, they hell... how do you say teloneros??? ok so they were in Cradle of Filth concert... Liturgia, that is the band and is black metal but I like it... No particular reason.

that band is koyi k uto thats the band who play with cradle of filth @aloqua.... about liturgia wow liturgia is an awsome band they have some songs in latin specially his first cd veritatis splendor i love that cd liturgia another great band from colombia

Oh nice....well i hear some like Masacre and Aputated Genitals....i think i heard a little more Masacre and i saw them like 2 month ago with Horcas from Argentina anda was great....but the problem is that a Latin band to be heared in europe or in USA its very hard to them....but i think here in Latin America we heard the same numbers of bands than the europeans or american.........man why Kraken aren't in that list ?? to me they are the best from my neighbor Colombia

Everyone... the fucking rumor about Kraken in "el campin" is just a rumor... I'm so sad because I really want to hear them in such a great place... but wtf... i don't care anymore... I'm so tired of all those rumors... and btwI saw them this month... i really love Kraken!

Well, it seems that Kraken is a really good band, it may sound a bit strange, but I know only one song of them, and I don't remember the name: sombra y camino or something like that, ahh yeah, and one called lenguaje de mi piel, or am I wrong

I now lenguaje de mi piel, the other one no idea. But it's okay, I also know very few from them, in fact, I only have 2 songs.

Well, I know only one Colombian metal record, that is Legand Maker's Lies Bleeding the Blind, it's excellent power metal!

This evening I was listening to Utuk-Xul's "The Goat Of Black Possession" and it's freaking awesome Black Metal... filthy, obscurantist with a truly diabolic atmosphere... the whole south american black metal scene is grower stronger in me...

I think Neurosis Inc., Kraken, Soulburner, Awaken, Underthreat, Kilcrops and a plenty of those colombian bands have the reasons to be supported by any international label. All of them have excelent music to show that Colombia gets the knowledge and experience to rule the world. Colombian metal rocks!

I know something about Clumbjian metal,
First - Its nots uch huge gernre, not so many bands and it always be local menaing scene, or SA sceene, but not world scene
Only if there dont shope up band like in Chile - Poema Arcanus

Secend - Therre are popular death, thrash and black metal also heavy metal, but notv so much how those genres, but seems its all latin america

thirth - languege, mosutly all lyrics are in spanish, thats why it makes this scene local, but i dont care if I like it

forth - No good quality HP and samples



fifth - moust bands 'play bad guys' and 'satanists' using symbols and lyrics, but I had talk about it 'Cristians play BM tread'

BANDS - From voting poll I know almoust ewery I had chacekd them, but dont remeber I like those bands

Eternal - Good gothoc/doom metal whit male and female vovcals, realy good band I love it

Funeral Dusk - Dark Ambient/minimalistic music
I like it even if ist not metal in traditional meaning but still great one

Guahaihoque - Brutal Epic Folk Metal
I liie it ist unique something like doom also, realy good band IMO best in Columbia

Heart Of Darkness - Black/Folk Metal
Good one

colombian metal scene... I don't know much about it but I am sure that there are many hidden metal talents there.. can you suggest me which of the above bands I should try checking out first? (I'm a black/death/folk metal fan btw)
