What is your record? How many times you saw that band live?

I'm just curious. Who is the ultimate concert geek? Who goes to every concert of their favourite band? How many times have you seen your favourite bands play? Or other bands?
I'm not a great example, I saw both Slayer and Metallica twice, that's my poor record. Actually, I saw a number of bands twice. Hopefully that will change over the years.
Let's hear it, fanatics.

If I could I would go to every concert of every band that I love, it's just that no one comes to Israel. And I'm too broke to travel abroad all the time.

Its a shame, as soon as I start really getting into them the tour here less frequently- Dont know what you got until its gone I guess.

There's a lot of bands I've seen between 2 and four times, but I believe the band I've seen the most is Therion (8 times - 3 times in 2007 only), and then Gojira and Opeth (5 times each). I'll see Gojira again in February, so that will make 6.

Interesting topic. I actually had to go and look in my personal archives to count which bands were in my top list. I know what my top three were, but wanted to list my top five. So here they are: #1 - The Electric Ghost Collective - 32 times #2 - Carbon Leaf - 12 times #3 - Dream Theater/James LaBrie - 8 times #4 - Opeth - 4 times #5 - Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - 3 times

(7) Electro Quarterstaff (3) Malefaction (3) Cannibal Corpse (3) Fuck The Facts (3) Of Human Bondage ...and a bunch twice. And I'd be glad to see all those bands a fourth time. Electro Quarterstaff were a bit less engaging some of the last few times but I'm sure I'll be seeing them again (and again).

I just remembered I saw Moonspell twice too. It's important because they are great live. But it's not extraordinary because they are Portuguese and tour here a lot. I saw them twice in a year, one time during summer festivals and one time during winter already.

I saw Moonspell about... hm... I don't know, 8-9 times in 7 years, or so. But that's because they always manage to play near me at least once a year. I wouldn't travel long miles to see (only) them. I saw Cradle of Filth 4 times... and that's about it. Not much of a geek.

Beneath the Massacre - 11 times Haha the band I've seen most isn't even one of my favourite bands they just seem to open for fucking everyone around here and it's getting fucking redic. so I've seen them 11 times now and there pretty sick live though so I guess it's alright. I know now that Dystopia's out they're probably going to end up playing another good tour around here and i'll probably end up seeing them again. The band I've went to see the most times though is Megadeth I've seen them 4 times now.
