Köld to me. But that's complaining at an extremely high level. Solstafir just had two statistically impossibly good releases that everything new is now measured against.
Another album from Sweden. This time it's a heavy metal release. Really like the production on this one. It has that classic metal feel with a modern production.
Our Place of Worship is Silence - We are a couple of days short for a full stream of this black/death beauty - lovely vocals, lovely brutality and probably more good things that I cant point out. Art by Leviathan. This is their second full-length so theres more if you like this. Enjoy.

There's a new Colorado based band with a really good producer called Messier that dropped their debut album this year. It's not very popular but definitely worth checking out. It's also on iTunes and stuff but here's the SoundCloud link.
TAPHOS - Plenty of solos and riffing in this old-school death metal. It sounds like this band is gonna follow up their good demos with another splendid thing. Denmark seems to have quite a scene in death metal at the moment.
Novae Militiae - Black black metal, with a slight tone of industrial. This re-release by sentient ruin and argento records is a god damn masterpiece - at least it sounds awesome on my second spin.
Hooky and melodic Black Metal, somewhere east of Aosoth and north of MGLA. A superb mix of aggression and catchiness in controlled portions that has had me returning time and again.
New Elysian Blaze track. I suspect it was one written for their planned fourth studio album 'Serpentrances' so kinda weird to see it out as part of the IVH compilation. Anyway it is a masterpiece hands down.

Sickkk. This is sounding superb. From the post on Facebook, the album is still a while off, but this is fantastic in the meantime!
Death. Void. Terror. - This sounds beautiful. Its probably experimental black. With +25 minute songs. On Ironbone Head.
Couldnt find anything but a teaser so far.

And full stream. Its a bit like Skaphe if they left the comfort zone for a more experimental space.
Fans of psychedelic music and also Demilich rejoice. Antti Boman, Demilich's vocalist, has put his vocals down on the new Pharaoh Overlord album. Such an odd combination but works quite well. Not sure I'd call it psychedelic death metal, but it's definitely psychedelic and has death growls so make of that what you will.
