It's always a pleasure to watch some chicks playing their instruments...although the song was pretty bad and the vid hilarious at times.

I don't know what kind of tone you wanted your comment to have, but the first half of your comment *might* be a little offensive. It doesn't really offend me, but for consistency's sake, I'm going to call you out on it (just as people did with Zaphod on some thread about the new singer of some band). I don't want to place blame on you; rather, I think we need to avoid those kind of comments about women in the future. OK?

Now to keep the thread going, I have to recommend my album of the year so far, Vectorscan by Amogh Symphony: http://amoghsymphony.bandcamp.com/album/vectorscan

What's wrong with his language? I love watching studs play their instruments

It was a comment that directly objectified women, placing more priority on their image than the actual music being made. He did make some comments about the music towards the end, but it came across as insensitive. The thread is titled "New Album Recommendations 2014" and such comments are unnecessary (hence, why I tried to move on from the comment). Why don't you watch that video and comment about the music being presented?

I did. Did you not see the sarcasm that was presented in my comment?

Bloody hell, the protector of women's rights on board... Thx for turning this thread into a holy feminist off-topic batman

I wasn't too serious in my previous comment, which ambiguity supposed to be funny but came out embarrassing (just as usual).

In short: I wanted to apologize all women for everything!

Missed the sarcasm, sorry.

I just think it's something we male-identified metalheads should be avoiding, whether we think it's funny or not. And in the span of things, was the original comment REALLY that funny to begin with?

Great. Thanks for acknowledging this. Again, I'm only calling you out so I can be consistent with my responses to other comments.

Deleted Tanners totally off-topic spam post and will be doing that to all others going on about the rightful calling out of Padzioch by Diverge as well. So, please back on topic.

Somehow I missed there was some new Wigrid out this summer. Well, a split actually with 2 songs.

Song is very good, very similar to the older stuff (even after 9 years of difference !!!), but we see a certain evolution in the sound (guitar tone is surprisingly similar though) And in the image too, weird logo and Timmy looks like some kinda hispter or something (just check the MA page... wtf ).

Hoping for a full-lenght in too long !

That new "supergroup" Viper Solfa featuring Ram-Zet singer and members of Trail Of tears and Mayhem just released a taste of their upcoming album. Sounds quite generic but it's worth a listen for those great vocal arrangements the girl pulled off.

Hiper Sofa Nice one. Yeah, the song they used for promotion was a lot better, but not sure if it's going to make it to the album.

Indeed. This is a lot better. This (not this track, but Y'know, taking what the two tracks seem to have in common) is sounding like Mayhem with Ram-zet vocalists. Which is quite good. I think Ill be checking this one out

Persona
One of my obsessions lately is Tengger Cavalry, a chinese band that combines hard-hitting heavy metal with harsh vocals and mongolian folk music. It's even got mongolian throat singing, which I don't think I've heard another metal band try to incorporate before. It's grand and melodic while never losing it's drive, it kicks ass.

Blimey, a new Emit album. Didn't see that coming. Only one track so far so hard to tell what it'll be like. Certainly less noisier than usual on the track available.

I quite like the psychedelic bit in the middle but overall I'm not really liking it. Sound is kind of weird; really boomy and unpleasant and lacks layers, but mostly it feels pretty aimless. I'd rather listen to Khlyst.
