Eerie, angry dsbm which progs along a melodic blender between Silencer and Lifelover.

I can't really retain the cover helping spark up my interest again for old green/ black style of photography, be it authentic vintage or today's more kitschy modern takes. Trust Type O Negative.

I actually like the cover a fair bit. That's not Kubrick's Lolita is it? Will listen to it when I'm not so knackered.

Yeah, I've just finished my first listen - really enjoyed it.

Rather nice, gallopy and rhythmic black metal with some heavy / thrashy metal leanings. I like it so I don't care if you do or not. Only an EP though.




This sounds sort of great, or good at least. Maybe what Summoning might sound like if they actually made black metal (again). Maybe not, but I really like their / his sound and approach at any rate.

No doubt heavily influenced by this.

I rather like this, particularly the first track. Really heavy sludge, but with somewhat psychedelic floating keys and clean guitars featured at points which elevate it. Only 15 minutes long though.

Edit: yep, this is great. When they reduce the pace, they sound like DsO gone psychedelic.

More black metal from DsO camp, with enough of personality, and cool bass play. I initially got super excited after hearing the first few minutes. Too bad they did not continue that sound. Solid record nonetheless. Love the cover, too. Impressive debut.

Some extremely fun sounding avant-garde metal, with a smidgen of black in. Emphasis on the fun part here, but also pleasantly epic and space-y. [edit] have already thrown this on to my 2015 list. So much awesome.




Two song demo, one of the people in it are in Swamp Witch (that band in the opening post at the top of this page). Really nicely rhythmic death / doom / black metal. Quite mechanical. You have my permission to headbang.
