At the graves?

lol

Ya, perhaps they named themselves after the King Diamond track?

Or they really like At The Gates.

Been a while since I bothered searching for new stuff outside MS, but I stumbled upon this and I was amazed.
Kraut Rock/Black Metal (you know, like Oranssi Pazuzu) with some really intense parts and other awesome chill moments

+1 to Aluk Todolo. That stuff sounds really good.

Here's a rather experimental post-hardcore band I discovered recently and have a new album out. Female fronted with clean/harsh. I'm enjoying this a lot.

For brutal death fans, the intro goes for a minute and a half if you want to skip:

I found it listenable which is rare for me from that subgenre. They're big at home in Indonesia apparently.

And the new Daylight Dies is very nice, I especially liked this track:

I think it's an EP not full-length, but still worth checking if you want to make your brains numb for a long moment.

Holy shit, a post metal band on a major record label? I feel "violated" if you know what I mean.
Well, actually, they are part post metal, post hardcore, doom, sludge. Either way, I still feel like "corporate America stay the fuck out!

It's a Black/Pagan Metal with themes about Anglo-Saxon history and Anglo-Saxon paganism.

Christ, this is excellent. They've changed their sound a lot from what I last listened to. Gone is that crunchy, harsh sound. This sounds like Skullflower being invaded by Oranssi and Arizmenda. (I also see Skullflower is in the similar artists bit on Last.fm. That makes me happy).

I also see they've been stricken from Metal Archives (unless they were never on there to start with). I'd have to say this album isn't really metal as such though, more noise rock or something along those lines with moments of metal here and there.

Absolutely brilliant stuff though. This could end up above everything I've heard this year. (actually I think it already has)

Haha yeah, I searched for them in the MA and got zero results ... apparently MA are too cool for this sort of stuff now x|
