So many records on this page I should check
Also, nice avant/tech death a la Gorgots from Germany:
Ingurgitating Oblivion-Continuum Of Absence

Me liking it.

Dire Wolf

I am in your debt for this one. Australians have a gift for that kind of heavy metallic hardcore.
Also, I hadn't noticed you linked 7.5 Tonnes Of Beard. I didn't recognize the EP cover. Great band. Heard the full length? It's out. I linked it just a few posts ago.

And, Nathan, it's not free. That was an act of webdesign, I charge for those.

Not familiar with this style. CVLT Nation calls it "stench/d-beat/crust/death metal" and I can only agree on DM part. Intense shit.
Stasis

Edit: also found this record from September. Death metal with influence from Deathspell Omega. Musically very solid but the vocals can be a put off.

This could be my fave BM of 2014.

But I'm not objective when it comes to my native scene.

I spoted that cover on that VK blog. I kept the cover but I don't remember what the band actually plays. I'm guessing raw bm?

I wouldn't call it raw.

Pretty unexpectedly experimental shit at times, really. Check out the song called "Próg" and you'll get what I mean

I started listening to the whole thing it. Indeed, nice and clean powerful bm. A few minutes in and I hear DsO guitars. I am not yet at the experimental parts you're talking about, but I can say it's a nice find. Thanks.

Usnea just came out with their second full length. Pretty strong blackened doom. Also, new Menace Ruine is epic as fuck.

When it comes to BM, Poland and Iceland probably have the strongest scenes nowadays considering the amount of fantastic bands spawned in the last couple of years. No need to be objective

Also, thanks for that (cover if creepy as fuck, but fits the atmpshere of the music...).

I think you already know a lot of these:

Svartidaudi, Carpe Noctem, Azoic, Wormlust, Sinmara, Misþyrming, Mannveira, Abominor,.....

Quite impressive for a 300 000 people country, and most of them are really recent.

Finnish dissonant BM with full lenght coming soon. I remember their demo was a copy/paste DsO, but not a bad one.

Two pretty different albums here. The first one is Passage of Gaia by Arctic Sleep; a really melancholic and often atmospheric influenced prog-ish album. The vocals annoy me at times, but it might worth giving a listen if it sounds like the kind of thing you enjoy. The second is Lunarterial by Swallowed. Marcel shared it on Facebook so I gave it a listen, and holy shit it is pure bleak, evil, torture. A mix of death, doom, and some black elements to create a swirling procession into hell. Oh and the last song is 25 minutes of complete and utter insanity that will leave you a beaten slab of dying meat.

Edit: Oh, and I hope we are all prepared for the upcoming Zom release, which, given the single on their bandcamp, will kick some serious ass.

I only quote from their tags in Bandcamp. I suck at defining a metal genre
